Hey there! 🙋‍♀️

I’m Nayeong, a 3rd-year Interaction Design student at Sheridan College.

Currently, I’m serving as co-president of Hackville, a club that hosts Sheridan's flagship hackathon. I’ve always been drawn to challenges, so I love jumping into hackathons and designathons. Winning prizes at Hackville 2023 and ElleHacks 2024 has only made me more excited about creating and collaborating with others.

I’ve always admired designers, and that admiration is what inspired me to study design. In a world filled with many design disciplines, UI/UX design captured my heart. For me, it's about creating things that are not just visually appealing but also make everyday life a little easier and more meaningful. Interacting with digital products, I try to stay mindful of each decision, guided by the empathy I’ve always felt toward others. My natural attention to detail and thoughtful approach have become my greatest strengths, enabling me to design with genuine care for people’s experiences.

When I'm not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring fashion, makeup, or nail art, taking photos, or making videos. Oh, music is a huge part of my world, too. So I’m always open to song suggestions! Lately, I’ve been into documenting my life more, whether it’s through photos or journaling. Keeping memories and reflecting on my days has become a source of happiness for me, and I’d love to bring that kind of joy to others through my work.

I dream of creating a world where everyone can find a little extra joy in their daily routines. Here’s to making that happen!
